Closet Assistant Cross Listing

Getting Started

The Closet Assistant cross listing tool is completely FREE. By installing the Closet Assistant on Google Chrome, you will be able to utilize the FREE tool. Before using the cross listing tool its recommended that you log into each market place that you will be cross listing to prior. You will notice next to each listing on each of the supported market places a blue link icon on the right corner of the listing. Selecting the icon will display a pop up with the available market places you can cross list too. You will need to be on the correct page in each market place to see the cross listing icon. Below we have a break down on cross listing from each market place. 

Selecting the market place from the link drop down followed by clicking the crosslist button will begin the cross listing process to that marketplace.  You will see a new window open and the draft listing created. Each market place has its own categories and fields in the listings. 

What information will be cross listed? 

  • Title
  • Description
  • Brand
  • Color
  • Condition
  • Price 
  • Images

A best practice is to cross list from either Poshmark or Ebay to other marketplaces and to build an awesome product title and description. Building a solid product title and description will improve the listings on the other marketplaces. 

An example of a great title should be:  

Brand + Name of Item+ Style + Category+ Color + Size + Descriptive

You want to use as many characters as you can as well as clear precise words that describe what you’re selling! This will help when cross listing. When cross listing to eBay will notice many fields then will have suggested text to include in that listing based on the title and description of the imported listing. 

Cross List From Poshmark 

  1. Navigate to your closet page.
  2. Select the blue cross list icon on the top right corner of any listing you want to cross list. 
  3. Select the marketplace you want to cross list to.
  4. Click Crosslist.
  5. Follow the steps on the next marketplace to list. 

Cross List From eBay

  1. Navigate to your Active Listing Page
  2. Select the blue cross list icon on the right corner of any listing you want to cross list. 
  3. Select the marketplace you want to cross list too.
  4. Click Crosslist.
  5. Follow the steps on the next marketplace to list. 

Cross List From Depop

  1. Select “Your Profile” from the drop down in the upper right corner of Depop.
  2. Select the blue cross list icon on the top right corner of any listing you want to cross list. 
  3. Select the marketplace you want to cross list too.
  4. Click Crosslist. 
  5. Follow the steps on the next marketplace to list. 

Cross List From Kidzen

  1. Select “ME” from the hangar icon on the drop down in the upper right corner of Kidizen.
  2. Select the blue cross list icon on the top right corner of any listing you want to cross list. 
  3. Select the marketplace you want to cross list too.
  4. Click Crosslist.
  5. Follow the steps on the next marketplace to list. 

Cross List From Facebook Marketplace

  1. Navigate to your Facebook Marketplace, then select “Selling” on the left column. Then select “Your Listings” You can also use this link for fast navigation. Facebook Market Place 
  2. Select the blue cross list icon on the top right corner of any listing you want to cross list. 
  3. Select the marketplace you want to cross list too.
  4. Click Crosslist.
  5. Follow the steps on the next marketplace to list. 

 

What if you want to use the remove the cross list Icon?

You can remove cross listing by visiting the Closet Assistant settings and deselecting the icon.
