Fees
As a reseller, we are in business for Profits! Fees have an impact on those profits. Let’s compare the selling fees on Depop vs Poshmark. When selling on Poshmark there just two fee structures. If an item has a final sale price of $15 or less you are charged a flat selling fee of $2.95. An item that has a final sales price of over $15 has a 20% commission. Poshmark does not charge a listing fee.
Depop charges a 10% commission fee in addition to the Paypal processing fee of 2.9% + $.30 payment processing fee when an item sells. What many sellers do not understand is that the 10% commission is taken out after shipping cost. If you sell an item at $25 and charge the seller $4.50 for shipping, the depop commission is taken from $29.50, not $25.
When it comes to comparing Depop vs Poshmark fees, the Depop selling fees are less then Poshmark.

On Depop, You can opt to ship with Depop or ship on your own. If you have sold on Poshmark for some time and decide to sell on Depop as well shipping can require slightly more work. Unlike Poshmark, on Depop most functions are only available through the app itself self the website is quite limited.
When creating a listing on Depop you can select to ship with Depop and take advantage of the discounts provided through the USPS. One of the differences from Poshmark is that you will need to know the weight of each item when building the listing. I would recommend purchasing a shipping scale if you plan to sell on a regular basis. On Depop you can elect to also offer free shipping. The one advantage you have on Depop is that you can save money on items under 1 lb. unlike Poshmark.
When to elect to ship on your own? The advantage of shipping on your own can be very useful when you use flat rate boxes from the USPS.

Passing the fee on to a buyer can make or break a deal. Depop allows you to ship worldwide but you will need to calculate that cost on your own. Shipping internationally will require more time and planning when building the listing but opens up the door on more potential buyers. Shipping internationally is not cheap, on average you can expect to pay about $25 to ship a 15oz item worldwide. You can use the USPS shipping calculator to get a better idea on cost, International Shipping Cost
