How much Poshmark sharing is too much?

There are 3,600 seconds in an hour; 86,400 in day; 604,800 in a week; and 18,144,000 in a month.The average number of daily shares on the Poshmark platform daily is 18 Million. Sharing too much or too quickly could land you in Poshmark Jail! Sharing constantly at a one-second interval is near impossible and not human! Our personal closet has 1400-1500 active listings at any given time. It’s impossible to share our closet multiple times a day without putting a strain on our personal life and family.

How to stay out of Poshmark Jail?

Sharing responsibly is the key to not landing in jail or having a soft ban. The first rule of thumb is to keep your daily shares to around 4000 shares daily. If you have a closet that has 100 items sharing the closet 45 times in a day is not realistic! I understand you want to increase the exposure of your closet and items. That’s not the way to do it!

What if I have 2000 items in my closet? For those with 2000 items, sharing your closet 3 times is a day (6000 shares) is realistic. If you were sharing around the clock night and day, then that would raise a few eyebrows.

Another consideration that must be addressed is the interval in which you share.

Manual Poshmark Sharing

In a timed manual test, it took 52 minutes and 45 Seconds to share 1500 items in my closet. That’s a pace of about 2 seconds per item after which you feel like you have carpal tunnel! Sharing at a pace far faster is not realistic. Sharing your closet continuously throughout the day is also unrealistic. In order to share my closet 3-4 times daily, I would need to spend nearly 4 hours a day sharing my closet. Let take it to another level, lets say I am now sharing my closet 8 times daily, that would take nearly 8 hours! Spending 8 hours daily on sharing is unrealistic.

Using Poshmark Bots

We have all heard the discussions about Poshmark bots by now that using them will land you in Poshmark share jail!

Using a Poshmark bot will save endless amounts of time-sharing. With that, you will need to share responsibly to not have a Poshmark soft ban place on your account. A few considerations when using a Poshmark bot or choosing a Poshmark bot are; you want a bot that is built to share just like you want manually, a bot that has share limits, and a bot that you can control the speed in which you share. Poshmark Algorithm

I am sure by now you have heard from a YouTuber (rolls eyes) mention that Poshmark uses algorithms. There numerous myths when it comes to the actual Poshmake algorithm. There are some who believe that Poshmark places more weight on certain listings than listings others. This is 90% FALSE! The only place a listing will have less weight based on the accounts history is the Poshmark Feed, that is!

The Poshmark Feeds are made up of items from your followers, Other Poshmark Users, and items in top trending categories.

Nearly all sales made on the platform are made from using the search feature!

When buyers are looking for a particular item majority of the time that buyer is searching with the search feature or using the brand page. That buyer will then use filters for color, size, etc. To find items similar to what they are looking for then comes the listings with great photos and the price.

The only time your items will be restricted is if you landed your self in Poshmark Jail during that time your total account is placed in a SOFT BAN for 24 hours.

Try this for example. Find one item in your closet to share, in a second tab on your browser open up the brand page for that item so that you can see all listings on Poshmark for that brand. Share your listing then refresh the brand page. You will notice the item which you just shared may appear at the top as it was just shared or within the top few items. If you do not see your listing at the top scroll down till you see it. There are over 18 Million shares daily on the platform daily. All items shared are rated the same, with thousands of shares per minute your listings will slowly drift down.

Share responsibly, If you plan to share like a software app/bot, you might be a bot! Creating a consistent Poshmark Sharing schedule is the key to sales! Keep it realistic, and you will be safe!
