Poshmark Parties often called a Posh Party are ran typically 4 times daily on Poshmark with many different themes. You will normally see a Posh Party at 12 pm, 3 pm, 7 pm, and 10 pm eastern time daily. Learn below how to get Poshmark host Pick!

What is the Purpose of Poshmark Parties?

Posh Parties give sellers an opportunity to participate in showcasing off their best items that meet the Party themes and guidelines. If you take a look at Poshmark Parties you will begin to see that the parties are normally geared towards the top-selling brands and trends on Poshmark. 

Benefits of Participating in a Posh Party

You may not always create sales from sharing to a Posh party, but when you share to a potential Poshmark Party you create more exposure for your closet. You want to focus on sharing off your best items which will in return peak the interest of those in the party.  You will see that every Posh Party you participate in will result in a boost in followers and shares to your personal closet. 

How to see Party Details

1)On the top toolbar select Parties

2) Select the Party Title

3) Select View Party Details

4) You now can see what you can share in the party and which brands and categories are allowed.

How to Share Items to a Posh Party

To share to Poshmark parties you will share in the same manner you share in your closet. 

First, navigate to your closet and then select the share icon in the lower right corner of the items you would like to share. Then select share to the current party.

Host Picks

Each party is run by Poshmark hosts which are sellers who are in good standing and Poshmark Ambassadors.  Poshmark party c0- host who manages the party are responsible for the following in a party. 

• Share at least 50 listings with only 5 to 10 of them from your own closet. 
• Show new Poshers some love by sharing at least 10 to 25 listings from new closets.
• Only share items that are available for purchase—host picks showrooms are intended to be a highly curated place for shoppers to discover great listings.
• Do not share counterfeit items under any circumstances.
• Do not share listings from closets that participate in offline transactions or communication.
• For makeup-related parties, share makeup that is only NWT.
• Have fun and do a little shopping for yourself while you’re at it!

How to get Poshmark Host Pick

Reaching out to a party host prior to a party requesting consideration for a host pick can increase attraction in your closet. How do you ask a host?  You can ask for a host pick either by visiting the host’s account and on their about listing simply commenting or introducing yourself. You can also select an item in your closet which you think would be a great host pick, on that listing you will tag the host of the party and ask for a host pick.  We have hosted numerous parties over the years every party which we have hosted we will receive hundreds of requests.  When asking for a pick one thing to avoid is using emoji’s! It’s just obnoxious, we never select those that appear to be begging. A simple short note goes a long way.

Hosting Parties will draw a large audience to your closet. Every time we host a party we have a large bump in sales before and after. It may take 6 months to a year after requesting to host a party. We like to send 2-3 requests per month.

How to Become a Poshmark Party Host

Once you have become an ambassador, and have an account in good standing, use the following links below to sign up to become a Poshmark Party host. It may take 6 months or more from the time you fill the form out till you receive the invite from Poshmark to host a party. You have 72 hours from the email to accept the request to host the party.
